ITINERARY aboard Graunya is always fluid - never fixed. Primary determinants are the preferences of our guests, as well as wind and sea conditions.
 Over the past ten years we’ve sailed with guests with preferences covering the spectrum. Sun worshipers to shade seekers. Some coming to the islands to get away from it all and others coming to do it all. Some who could care less if Graunya ever left the peaceful picturesque cove others hell- bent-rail-in-the- water sailors. We’ve enjoyed (and on rare occasion endured) guests who were historical buffs, consummate gamblers, discoholics, shop til you droppers, party animals and teetotalers. We’ve catered to gourmets as well as the yogurt & granola set. We’ve had guests who take all their meals aboard and others who love to sample the local restaurants. Our charter guests have come from all walks of life. We’ve sailed with families, couples, friends and singles groups. Charter guests have ranged in age from early twenties to mid-eighties.
Our base in St.Maarten/St.Martin (Dutch/French) makes it possible to accommodate all interests. The island boasts thirty plus beaches (some topless-some clothing optional), a dozen casinos, literly hundreds of excellent restaurants, duty free shopping par excellence. During a typical one week holiday we can also visit the neighboring islands of Anguilla (British) & St.Barths (French). Prefer visiting unihabited islands – ‘no problem mon’.
 Here’s an idea: Assuming your holiday is ten days or longer, fly to and meet Sailing Graunya in Antigua (British). Spend a few days in exploring Antigua by boat (including historic Nelsons Dockyard) then beam reach north to its sister island Barbuda. All followed by a 65 mile broad reach to St.Barths. From there it’s a run to St.Maarten. Who was it that said “gentlemen do not sail to weather”?
